How to Volunteer
There are lots of ways to get involved with ACSS! An overview of our opportunities is listed below. To serve at the Cafe 458 Sunday Brunch, please use our Volunteer Sign-Up Calendar.
Café 458 Sunday Brunch
On Sundays, Café 458 transforms into a restaurant open to the public for a delicious southern brunch. This builds awareness of the organization in the community while raising revenue for our programs. Volunteers are needed every Sunday for cooking, hosting and serving tables. (Individual and Group opportunity)

Host a workshop – ACSS participants begin the program with a 3-week employment and life skills curriculum. We are always looking for volunteers to share professional expertise in interview skills, job search techniques, resume development, workplace ethics, team building, financial management, and much more. Computer Lab Support – The ACSS computer lab is constantly abuzz with activity as clients search for jobs, correspond with potential employers, build resumes and learn valuable computer skills. Computer lab volunteers help our clients in all of these processes. (Individual and Group opportunity)
